In the present housing market environment the Existing Home Sales figures released this morning are very suspect.  The importance of seller-motivation is entirely ignored in these numbers.  I read the methodology section of the NAR web-site.  While it sounds straightforward on their site I have to assume that the NAR methodology can and probably has changed due to market conditions.
